53. Potted PIXL High Voltage Module

The potted PIXL “double-wedge” high voltage prototype module can be seen in these pictures. The upper pictures show the assembly with the brass high voltage post protruding in the area where the x-ray tube is to be mounted. The lower pictures show the x-ray tube cast in place along with the mounting hardware for the capillary focus element. The cable with the round white connector is for powering and controlling the module. The filament power is provided via the twisted black and white cable.
