54. PIXL X-Ray Tube Test Module

Many prototype test applications during the PIXL development required a “standard” test module with an x-ray tube to allow for closed-loop testing of both the voltage control and filament emission control. The above module on the left can be seen installed on the right side with one of the brassboard units during closed-loop testing.
