63. Brassboard version of the PIXL high voltage system.
If this module looks familiar, it should since it is a brassboard version of the PIXL high voltage system that was built for the proposal. The unit was built and tested in less than a week in order to demonstrate that a small power supply module could be built for operation in the Mars environment. The particular design was for a different x-ray tube style and operated at -28,000 volts with an isolation transformer for the filament.
