The SAM (Surface Analysis at Mars) instrument The SAM (Surface Analysis at Mars) instrument undergoing conducted susceptibility testing while on its handling dolly in the clean room at Goddard Space Flight Center. The instrument is on the left side of the picture hanging upside down from its support plate. The bagged portion in the middle is the LISN used for stabilizing the power bus impedance during testing. The injection transformers can be seen on the right. Two transformers are used in order to inject noise on to the MAIN power bus and AUX power bus at the same time. |
