169. TEGA High Voltage Transformer Stepped-Voltage
Testing
Stepped voltage testing of University of Texas, Dallas TEGA high voltage
isolation transformers prior to qualification activities in
Photo 167.
Testing was performed in steps up to 5000 volts with the dielectric
performance measured and recorded at each step. Battel Engineering
specializes in high voltage design and testing and has unique equipment
for performing tests up to 40 kV.
